Powered by Hyper Compress: it recompresses images, subsets and merges fonts, and strips dead weight while text, links, and forms keep working. For image-only scans, turn on Rasterize pages under Custom Settings.
Hyper Compress finds the best quality that fits. Leave it empty to use the level as is.
Fine-tune Hyper Compress. Picking a compression level resets these, except Override content protection, Convert to grayscale, Preserve PDF/A, and Brotli.
Processing...
To compress a PDF to 1MB, add the file below and click Compress PDF. The target size is already set to 1 MB. One megabyte is the most common upload ceiling on the web, nearly every document reaches it without visible quality loss, and everything is processed privately in your browser.
Countless web forms cap attachments at 1MB: HR systems, insurance claim uploads, property portals, CRM attachments. Even large reports with photos usually compress below 1MB at the Medium level, because most PDF weight is unoptimized images and duplicate embedded fonts that compression removes losslessly first.
A 50 to 100MB scanned book or brochure needs much stronger image compression to get under 1MB, which the target size handles by lowering quality step by step, and extremely long documents may not fit at any quality. In that case, split the PDF into logical parts, such as chapters or sections, and compress each part under 1MB.

Save your compressed PDFs - up to 90% smaller
Typical reductions are 50 to 90%. Image-heavy files shrink the most; already-optimized PDFs shrink the least. You see the exact before-and-after size instantly, and nothing counts against a quota.
No hard limit. processing happens on your own machine, so capacity depends on your device rather than a server plan. Files of several hundred megabytes work on a typical laptop.
Compression preserves form fields. A digitally signed PDF is left exactly as it is, because any change would invalidate the signature, so compress before signing, not after. If you need it smaller anyway, turn on Override content protection under Custom Settings to remove the signatures and compress it.
