Powered by Hyper Compress: it recompresses images, subsets and merges fonts, and strips dead weight while text, links, and forms keep working. For image-only scans, turn on Rasterize pages under Custom Settings.
Hyper Compress finds the best quality that fits. Leave it empty to use the level as is.
Fine-tune Hyper Compress. Picking a compression level resets these, except Override content protection, Convert to grayscale, Preserve PDF/A, and Brotli.

To email a large PDF, compress it below your provider's attachment limit first: add the file below and click Compress PDF. The target size is set to 10 MB, which fits even strict corporate mail servers; change it to match your provider. The work happens in your browser, so a confidential contract never touches a third-party server on its way to your outbox.
Gmail allows 25MB per message, Outlook.com 20MB, Yahoo 25MB, iCloud 20MB. and corporate mail servers are often far stricter, commonly 10MB and sometimes 5MB. The limit applies to the whole message after encoding, which inflates attachments by about a third, so a "25MB" limit really fits roughly an 18MB file. When in doubt, aim well below the ceiling.
Cloud links expire, need permissions, and get quarantined by security filters. A compressed attachment simply arrives. The Medium level often cuts a scanned contract or slide deck by 60 to 90%, which turns most too-big files into comfortable attachments while keeping them readable and printable.
If you regularly send batches of documents, compress them all at once. each file processes independently in your browser. Pair with the Merge PDF tool to combine several attachments into one tidy file before compressing.

Email encodes attachments in a format that adds roughly 33% overhead, so a 24MB file becomes a 32MB message. Compress the PDF to about 18MB or less to fit a 25MB limit.
Yes. this is the point of BentoPDF. The file is processed by WebAssembly inside your browser and is never uploaded, so the only copies are on your device and in the email you choose to send.
