Add two or more files to Merge PDF and drag them into the order you want. File Mode joins whole documents, with an optional page range per file such as 1-3, 5, while Page Mode lays out every page as a thumbnail so you can build the exact sequence. There's no cap on file count or total pages, and pages are copied without re-encoding, so quality doesn't change.
Split PDF has six modes: page ranges, visual selection from thumbnails, even or odd pages only, one file per page, splitting at bookmark boundaries with a choice of bookmark level, and fixed chunks of every N pages.
