Często Zadawane Pytania

Do I need LibreOffice installed to convert an ODG file?

No. A LibreOffice engine compiled to WebAssembly runs inside your browser, so you don't need LibreOffice, OpenOffice, or a plugin on your computer, and it works on any operating system.

Are the drawings kept as vectors or turned into images?

Shapes, connectors, lines, and text boxes stay as vectors in the PDF, so the drawing scales cleanly to any print size and the text remains selectable.

Does the PDF keep the original page size?

Yes. The page dimensions from the ODG file are preserved, including landscape and custom sizes, so a diagram laid out for A3 or Tabloid prints at that size.

Can I convert several ODG files at once?

Yes. Add multiple files and the results download as odg-to-pdf.zip, one PDF per drawing. A single file downloads directly with the same base name and a .pdf extension.

Why does the first ODG conversion take longer than the next ones?

On first use the browser downloads the LibreOffice engine, around 75 MB compressed, and starts it. Conversions later in the same session skip that step and finish much faster.

Will fonts look the same as in LibreOffice Draw?

The engine renders with the fonts bundled inside it rather than the fonts installed on your computer, so an unusual font may be replaced by a similar one. Check the output if the drawing depends on a specific typeface.

Does it work with files from Apache OpenOffice Draw?

Yes. Any .odg file works, including ones saved by OpenOffice Draw, since both programs use the same OpenDocument Graphics format.

Is my drawing uploaded anywhere?

No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser tab; the only download is the engine itself, and the ODG file never leaves your device.
