PNG na PDF

High embeds each PNG as-is, losslessly and at full size. Medium re-encodes the image as JPEG at 75% quality and shrinks anything larger than 2500 pixels on its longest side; Low uses JPEG at 50% with a 1500 pixel limit.

High. Screenshots and diagrams have sharp edges and small text, and the JPEG compression at Medium or Low adds visible blur and artifacts around them. Medium or Low make sense mainly for photos where file size matters more.

At High the PNG keeps its alpha channel and transparent regions show the page behind them, which viewers display as white. Medium and Low convert to JPEG, which has no transparency, so use High for images with transparent backgrounds.

The page matches the image's pixel dimensions at one point per pixel, so a 1920 by 1080 screenshot gives a page about 26.7 by 15 inches; at Medium or Low a downscaled image gives a proportionally smaller page. Use Fix Page Size afterward if you need A4 or Letter.

Yes. Every file you add becomes one page in the order shown in the list; remove and re-add files to change the order. The output is always a single PDF, not one file per image.

At High the PNG data is stored unchanged, so the PDF is roughly the sum of the image sizes plus a little overhead. If that's too large, choose Medium or Low, or run the PDF through Compress PDF.

PNGs with unusual color profiles or bit depths that the PDF library rejects are redrawn and stored as JPEG at 90% quality instead, so the conversion still completes with a small quality trade-off.
