Powered by Hyper Compress: it recompresses images, subsets and merges fonts, and strips dead weight while text, links, and forms keep working. For image-only scans, turn on Rasterize pages under Custom Settings.
Hyper Compress finds the best quality that fits. Leave it empty to use the level as is.
Fine-tune Hyper Compress. Picking a compression level resets these, except Override content protection, Convert to grayscale, Preserve PDF/A, and Brotli.

To compress a PDF to 2MB, add your file below, pick the Low level for the best image quality, and click Compress PDF. The target size is already set to 2 MB, a budget that lets you keep high image quality for portfolios and reports, and the compression runs entirely on your device.
With 2MB to work with, you rarely need destructive settings. The Low level removes dead weight, such as duplicate fonts, unused objects, and editing leftovers, and keeps images at high quality, which suits design portfolios, photography-heavy reports, and print-ready documents that still have to pass an upload check.
University thesis submission systems, conference paper uploads, and many procurement portals cap files at 2MB. Documents exported from Word or Google Docs almost always fit at the Low level; for InDesign or Canva exports with full-resolution imagery, the 2 MB target lowers image quality only as far as it has to.

Lossless keeps images exactly as they are, and Low keeps them at high quality. With the 2 MB target set, Hyper Compress starts from the level you pick and lowers image quality only if the file doesn't fit.
Design tools often embed full-resolution images and complete font files. Compression subsets the fonts and re-encodes images at sensible resolution, which is where the large savings come from.
You see the compressed size immediately after processing, and you can re-run with a different level or target as many times as you like. Nothing is uploaded, so iteration is instant.
