EPUB to PDF
Convert EPUB ebooks into PDF files without leaving your browser. EPUB is the open standard for digital books, but sometimes you need a fixed-layout PDF for printing, annotation, or sharing with people who don't have an ebook reader.
Supported Formats
| Format | Extension | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| EPUB | .epub | EPUB 2 and EPUB 3 files |
How It Works
- Click the upload area or drag and drop your EPUB files. Multiple selection is supported.
- Review the uploaded files. Remove any unwanted entries with the trash icon, or click Add More Files to expand the batch.
- Click Convert to PDF. The PyMuPDF engine renders the EPUB content -- text, images, and formatting -- into paginated PDF output.
- A single EPUB downloads as a PDF directly. Multiple files are packaged into a ZIP archive named
epub-converted.zip.
Options
The conversion runs with sensible defaults and no required configuration. Text reflows into standard page dimensions, and embedded fonts and images carry over to the PDF.
Use Cases
- Printing a DRM-free ebook for reading away from screens
- Submitting an EPUB manuscript as a fixed-layout PDF for review
- Archiving digital books in a format every operating system can open natively
- Sharing a chapter with a colleague who doesn't have an EPUB reader
- Converting technical documentation distributed as EPUB into annotatable PDFs
Tips
- EPUB 3 features like embedded audio and video won't carry over to PDF, but all text, images, and tables convert cleanly.
- For best results with heavily styled EPUBs, check the first few pages of the output to confirm layout fidelity.
